Sedona Hiking Adventures offers numerous adventures for your enjoyment. During the summer months, as well as warmer spring and fall months, we are pleased to offer full moon adventures. A full moon in Sedona is like nothing you have ever experienced. You have to imagine of what the glow of the red rocks looks like under a full moon.
When the sun goes down and the moon comes up, we head out on the trails. Come out and explore the red rocks at night as the glow of the moon illuminates your path. While out at night, it is an ideal time to see local wildlife for many of the local species of wildlife are nocturnal. Now is the time where the desert comes alive with an abundance of wildlife in search of food.
You can bring a flashlight, but we are sure you won’t need it. The soft glow of the moon is a way to see the beauty of the red rocks like nothing you have imagined. Just imagine walking among the rock as the moon casts your shadow upon the surrounding backdrop.
For a unique and unforgettable hiking experience where you need “moon shades” to see from the brightness of the moon, it is simply incredible!
